The PTSA is an integral part of Pikesville High School.  Numerous programs, activities and supplies are funded by PTSA money that directly benefits every Pikesville High School student. The PTSA pays for the postage of the newsletter that is mailed out several times a year. The PTSA provides every child at PHS with an assignment book at the beginning of each school year. Last school year with the funds raised we were able to fund picnic tables for the courtyard-Projection screen for auditorium-LCD projector-Sound equipment for theater-Digital camera- Repair of all calculators-Four Student scholarships-Distinguished Alumni program-Maintenance of Alumni Wall-Departmental funding-Welcome breakfast at beginning of school year-Teacher appreciation.. The PTSA spear heads the After Prom Party for the Senior Class and volunteers in the school when needed. In the spring we hold a Plant Sale which is the only fund raiser that is held all year. Most of our funds come from PTSA memberships and donations.

Let us know your concerns. PTSA meetings provide an opportunity for all members to raise issues regarding aspect of the Pikesville High School experience. In some cases, issues can be resolved at the meetings and other times it will be resolved at the Administration level. Pikesville Principal, Ms. Walker, attends all PTSA meetings.
